Senior Financial Advisor
Kayse A. Kress, CFP® is a Senior Financial Advisor at Connecticut Wealth Management, LLC (CTWM). Kayse’s role at CTWM involves crafting individualized wealth plans for clients with sophisticated financial affairs. Her expertise includes income and estate planning, investments and risk management. In addition, she oversees all of the 401(k) plans for the Firm’s business owner clients. She is a member of the CTWM Investment Committee and specializes in analyzing foreign and international securities.
Prior to joining Connecticut Wealth Management, Kayse was a financial advisor at KR Wealth Management. She was also a member of the firms’ client servicing team with a focus on marketing. In addition, Kayse was involved with the Kostin, Ruffkess and Company’s internship program where she mentored interns regarding the economic markets.
Kayse is often asked to present to various organizations including the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and Division of Orthodontics. She also participates in the Financial Planning Association’s speaker bureau for their Money Talks Awareness campaign. In addition, she has been interviewed for the television show For the Record where she discussed the importance of financial planning at any age.
Kayse A. Kress graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a degree in marketing. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) licensee and holds a Series 65 securities registration through Connecticut Wealth Management, LLC.
Affiliations & Community Involvement
Kayse is a member of the investments committee for the Chrysalis Center in Hartford where she helps oversee the Center’s pension plan. She is a budget coach for the Connecticut Wealth Management Outreach Program where she helps low-income families in Connecticut create, understand and implement a financial plan. Kayse has also been involved in Xcel: The Females’ Center of Excellence and Leadership where she has met with socially and economically disadvantaged women between 17 and 24 years old to discuss the importance of budgeting. In addition, Kayse was a founding member of the Connecticut Wealth Management Think Pink program, a program focused on educating women about breast cancer.
Kayse is also a member of the Financial Planning Association of CT Valley, the Metro Hartford Alliance and the Hartford Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs (“HYPE”). She is actively involved in local community organizations including the American Cancer Society and the National MS Society and frequently bikes at their fundraising events. She is a certified spinning instructor and teaches weekly spinning classes at various gyms in the Greater Hartford area.
